Drop-In Tennis is open to everyone. Find your game at the Durango High School tennis courts on Tuesdays, Thursdays at 4 PM and Saturdays at 9 AM and women’s drop-in at 9 AM Thurs. The times change throughout the season as temperatures and daylight hours shift, so please check the bulletin board at the courts for updates.
DCTA sends drop-in updates to everyone on the email list. Contact at firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to the email list or if you have suggestions.
Due to the high school team practice in September, March and April weekday drop-in tennis will be at 4 PM at the Needham courts OR approximately 5:30 at the HS courts. On Saturdays, it begins at 9:00 a.m. unless the team has a home match.
The Drop-In format is quite informal and is for all levels, ages, and abilities and genders (with the exception of the ladies Thursday morning). Just show up with racket in hand. The intent for drop-in is to be all-inclusive and players who show up will be “worked in” as space allows. Players are asked to be flexible and accept players of different abilities, and as the courts fill, appropriate match-ups can typically be attained. Be aware that the courts are not specifically reserved for drop-in and at there may be players specifically playing with their own group during those time periods.
