Drop-In Tennis

Drop-In Tennis is open to everyone, and we encourage all ages, genders, and abilities to come out and play with your fellow Durangatangs. The Drop-In format is quite informal. Just show up with racket in hand.  The intent for drop-in is to be all-inclusive and players who show up will be “worked in” as space allows.  Players are asked to be flexible and accept players of different abilities, and as the courts fill, appropriate match-ups can typically be attained.  Be aware that the courts are not specifically reserved for drop-in and at there may be players specifically playing with their own group during those time periods. There is no set organizer guaranteed at drop-in, however, any questions can be forwarded to Jim Shadell at shadelljim@gmail.com
Times are as follows:

Monday 9-11 Mixed Doubles Ft. Lewis Courts – 1000 Rim Drive
Friday 9-11 Ladies Drop in Durango High School Courts – 2390 Main Avenue
Saturday 9-11 Folks have been meeting, informally and playing amongst themselves at the Durango High School Courts

For the more laid back ,senior player -Tuesday and Thursday 9-11 Mason Courts – 301 East 12th Street

The times change throughout the season as temperatures and daylight hours shift, so please check the bulletin board at the courts for updates.
